We asked the team at W1 Agência questions about their work and why they decided to support Teach the Future.

Why was the agency created?

W1 Agency has a history marked by innovation and growth. We started in 2004 as an agency specializing in international website creation, evolved into visual identity design in 2008, and established ourselves as a reference in naming and digital media management from 2012 onwards. Today, we are recognized for strengthening brands and crafting impactful narratives, helping businesses stand out in the market.

Our name carries this history. Originally called WebMídia Internacional, the agency underwent a rebranding in 2006 to align with the evolution of our work and the growing demand for creative solutions. We extracted the "W" from WebMídia, redefined the "1" (inspired by the Roman numeral I, for International), and thus, W1 Agency was born – a name that reflects our essence: innovation, strategy, and excellence.

What makes you different?

Our strategic and multidisciplinary approach. We are not just a marketing agency; we are growth partners for our clients, combining creativity, branding, and digital performance to create solutions that truly make a difference.

What are your aspirations for the future?

Our aspiration for the future is to continue evolving, expanding our reach, and empowering brands that share our vision of innovation and positive impact. We believe communication has the power to transform businesses and shape the future, and we are committed to being part of this change.

We’d love to know more about the team! Could you introduce yourselves briefly?

How did you come across futures thinking and the work of Teach the Future?

Our journey with futures thinking began through Eduardo Sá, who has been dedicated to this field for years, consistently bringing us insights on how anticipating scenarios and designing desirable futures are essential for society – and for brands as well.

Through this journey, Edu voluntarily connected with Teach the Future, recognizing the initiative’s transformative impact. His dedication led him to join the board of the Brazilian hub of TTF, where he now leads the brand’s communication transformation, expanding its reach and impact.

This connection further strengthened our vision at W1 Agency, which has always supported institutions focused on culture, education, and sports. It demonstrated how futures thinking can and should be present in all areas – from education to branding, from innovation to business strategy.

Last but not least, why did you decide to support Teach the Future?

Teach the Future is a global leader in spreading futures thinking, and its work has an incredible impact wherever it goes. For us, being partners in this transformation goes beyond communication – it is a commitment to the future.

We are in a moment of global expansion, and collaborating with TTF strengthens one of the pillars of this new phase of W1 Agency. We believe that brands that look to the future not only stand out but also create real impact in society.

Our mission is to be the agency of the future, and supporting TTF means contributing to an education system that prepares new generations to imagine and build better futures. 🚀✨
