Shape the future: Young Voices Council applications open July 1st - August 15 2026

Next generation leaders wanted. Overview: The Young Voices Council (YVC) is a global leadership cohort of 30 visionary changemakers (ages 12–18) representing over 20 countries. While the Young Voices Network is open to all, the Council is a selective, year-long intensive cohort designed for those ready to gain futures literacy skills and lead impact projects in their local communities.


What Council Members Do: Over a 10-month term, Council members move from students to catalysts through:

  • Collaboration: Bi-weekly intensive sessions covering the FutureWISE curriculum, including systems thinking and strategic planning.

  • Action: Designing and leading community-based projects that bring futures thinking to local schools and peers.

  • Influence: Advising adult leaders, contributing to global policy, and representing youth at international stages like the UN Summit of the Future and the Dubai Futures Forum.


The Impact (Our Theory of Change) We believe that by equipping youth with the agency to anticipate change rather than just react to it, we can shift the global educational paradigm. Our members don't just study the future they create it by:

  1. Developing Skills: Mastery of leadership and cross-cultural collaboration.

  2. Driving Policy: Using youth-led insights to influence international education standards.

  3. Multiplying Impact: Utilizing a peer-to-peer model where each Council member trains dozens of others in their home country.
