We are delighted with our continuous partnership with the Millennium Project to celebrate World Futures Day on March 1st, 2024.
The Millennium Project pioneered the idea of having a "Young Voices" track four years ago when they asked us to get involved and bring youth perspectives into the global conversation about the future. Now in our fourth year collaborating on World Futures Day, this partnership continues to grow. The Millennium Project remains dedicated to ensuring young people have a seat at the table when discussing and envisioning future scenarios. As a global non-profit focused on futures literacy for youth, we share this commitment wholeheartedly.
On March 1st, 2024 World Futures Day events will take place over 24 hours in each time zone around the world. Teach the Future and Millennium Project will host parallel conversations around the clock. TTF's virtual sessions hold space for young people to share their ideas about the future, as well as intergenerational conversations to foster exchange between youth and adults. The goal is to inspire young people to imagine possibilities for the future while learning and exchanging ideas and experience of other generations. We believe engaging youth voices leads to more inclusive and innovative visions that benefit all of humanity.
