TEACH THE FUTURE
YOUNG PEOPLE GO TO SCHOOL TO PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE. THEY LEARN ABOUT THE PAST, THE PRESENT, WHY NOT ABOUT THE FUTURE?
Our aspiration is that every student is prepared to navigate an uncertain world and has the agency to imagine and create their preferred future.
WHAT WE OFFER
NEXT GENERATION SURVIVAL KIT
Are you looking for a meet-up with teachers? The Next Generation Survival kit helps teachers to think about the future of education in an inspiring way.
In a workshop they co-create the futures thinking competencies they can teach their pupils and students and help them become confident about the future.
Children are the future. Because of that we believe their voices matter. They should have a say about the future of their village, town or city. With the Young voices Manifest (KinderTrendrede in Dutch) we give young people a voice and help them share their visions of the future. An important policy document for mayors and aldermen. The children learn how to anticipate the future and develop futures consciousness skills.
YOUNG VOICES MANIFEST
TEACHER IN TRAINING PROGRAMS
"Education should have a more pro-active role in society and should be aimed at the future." Marcel Staring, Teacher in Training program Windesheim Flevoland.
We work together with teacher in training programs to help integrate futures literacy into their curricula.
