In 2023, The Association of Professional Futurists (APF) recognized Peter Bishop with its Cynthia Frewen Leadership Award for his leadership in shepherding the Membership Committee for nearly two decades while the APF expanded globally, his foresight in founding the APF in 2002, and his ongoing mentorship of many of the key leaders in APF.

Cynthia Frewen is a former APF Board Chair, an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston Foresight Graduate Program, and the Founder and CEO of Frewen Architects, Inc.
The Cynthia Frewen APF Award is a significant recognition for contributions to Leadership within the greater global futurists community. This award carries with it the importance of Ms. Frewen’s tremendous contributions to foresight literacy.
