Nominate a young person to Become a Next Generation Champion

Our Partners over at School of International Futures (SOIF) are about to kickstart their next set of dialogues as part of the National Strategy for the Next Generations programme.

Their ask:

"We are looking to recruit 50 new Next Generation Champions, young people between 17 and 30 years old and living in the UK, to hold foresight conversations with their peers about the future role of the UK in the world.

Next Generations Champions will get trained in futures thinking, leadership and advocacy skills, before being connected with MPs and policy makers. Our aim is to support young leaders to use intergenerational dialogue to inform cross government strategy making processes.

Would you be happy to nominate 1-3 young people to take part in the programme?

They could be a family friend, a younger colleague, or anyone else that you think would be interested in taking part.

Nominating is a proven strategy to reach young people who would not find or apply for the opportunity on their own. As a nominator you can support young people around you to learn, grow and have valuable experiences.

To nominate a young person please forward this information with a young person before the deadline of 13th of April, letting them know that you have nominated them to apply .

As ever, we are enormously grateful for your ongoing support for the NSxNG programme!
