Celebrating Amna Habiba - Teach the Future's Extraordinary Student Intern

Updated: Oct 25, 2023

Teach the Future is immensely proud to celebrate our remarkably accomplished student intern, Amna Habiba. At just 18 years old, Amna has already made invaluable contributions as the youngest member of our core team.

After receiving the NGFP Young Voices Award in 2021, Amna joined Teach the Future to empower youth futures literacy. She co-founded the Young Voices Network, a global community of youth changemakers. Amna also leads website design, project databases, and oversees virtual programs for our community.

As an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, Amna is the founder of BloomED Inc., designing innovation spaces for marginalized youth. She is a Lester B. Pearson scholar, Chegg Global Student Prize finalist, HP GSTW finalist, and recognized leader with 30+ speaking engagements reaching over 7 million people worldwide.

Featured by UN, Malala Fund, and others, Amna represents the limitless potential of diverse youth voices. As a young Pakistani woman, she aims to reshape narratives and create equitable futures for girls in STEM. Even at a young age, her work embodies our mission of empowering student futures.

We are continuously inspired by Amna's brilliant mind, compassionate spirit, and determination to drive change. She exemplifies the power of investing in diverse youth perspectives. Amna's journey with Teach the Future has only just begun. We cannot wait to see the global impact she will create as she champions women, pioneers social innovation, and helps build Foresightful Futures for All.

Stay Tuned for Amna's upcoming speaking engagement she will also be virtually joining the World Futures Studies Federation (WFSF) for their XXV World Conference 50th Anniversary in Paris, France from October 25-27, 2023

As she embarks next on her higher education journey, we are confident Amna will continue trailblazing. She demonstrates that age is no barrier to pursuing your dreams and uplifting others along the way. We are so proud of Amna's journey thus far, and look forward to seeing the extraordinary leader she will become.
