Problem Solving through Futures Forecasting

The future will surprise us. Whether that wave of surprise will merely hit us or overtake us depends on how much we are willing to think critically about what the future might hold and explore our options. This unit introduces students to scenario planning, a fundamental foresight technique for envisioning alternative futures, and asks them to apply it to a global issue of their choice.
