Future Forward, a 20-lesson program designed to explore the future, is a European Commission initiative, in cooperation with TED-Ed, to support the uptake of futures literacy into EU curricula, and more broadly, as a key skill within the GreenComp, the European sustainability competence framework.
The project was co-created with several partners, including Teach the Future, a global non profit whose mission is to prepare students for tomorrow teaching them about the future today.
Teach the Future provides futures literacy curricula and training for schools and educators so students can begin imagining possibilities today to ensure we will make better choices for tomorrow.
Teach the Future offers free access to the Future Consciousness Scale for Youth, a tool for schools and educators, that help teachers assess their students’ level of futures consciousness and identify areas where their skills can be strengthened.
