Futures Research and Timeline

Rating is 0.0 out of five stars based on reviews

When we think about research, we generally think about the past. It turns out, we can also research the future. Using futures research techniques developed by a graduate of the master’s in Foresight at the University of Houston, middle or high school students will develop research skills by looking deeply in the past, present, and possible futures of a topic of their choice and will organize their findings into a visual map using multimedia tools. While incorporating Common Core reading, writing, and speaking and listening standards, this multi-day project gives students the opportunity to explore an interest, observe the world around them, and creatively imagine possible futures.
