It is imperative that we cultivate the skills in young people that they need in order to thrive in an everchanging world. We are all constantly exposed to big changes that will affect our life in the future, but few of us have the necessary skills to view those changes constructively and action-oriented. Our hope is that this cartoon can introduce children and young people to thinking about and reflecting on the future and what it holds.
The cartoon is part of an initiative that developed Danish teaching materials connected to the Danish version of the cartoon. Teach the Future Denmark's aim is to spread the knowledge and use of the cartoon and teaching materials to primary schools across Denmark as well as provide inspiration young people, parents, and teachers outside of Denmark through the English cartoon.
The cartoon and teaching materials were created in collaboration with prof. Sohail Inayatullah. The initiative is part of the Teach the Future movement and is supported by donations from Knud og Dagny Gad Andresens Foundation and Brødrene Hartmanns Foundation.
