World Future Day is oorspronkelijk een initiatief van Humanity+ en Millennium Project. Zij organiseren gedurende deze dag een 24-uurs online wereldwijd gesprek. We willen ervoor zorgen dat ook jongeren deel uitmaken van het gesprek. Uiteindelijk is het hun toekomst waar we het allemaal over hebben.

24 hour conversations about the future
March 1st is World Future Day. Together with partners from around the world we will be hosting live events on Zoom to inspire young people and imagine possible futures together. We will start broadcasting in New Zealand at 17:00 (5:00pm) in the evening and continue our journey "as the workd turns" through different time-zones. Each year, total strangers discuss ideas about possible worlds of tomorrow in a relaxed, open, no-agenda conversation. Futures research and studies are shared, new ideas come up, and new collaborations friendships are made.
